Social Media Manager

Summary

Do you enjoy the mechanics of social media? Are you an organized person who loves the metrics and measurement that deliver a successful campaign? Do you want to work inside a creative agency and collaborate with other talented designers and creators?

The Social Media Community Manager will be predominantly focused on executing and monitoring effective social media content both organically and in paid advertising placements. We’ll provide everything from creative photography and video to graphic design which you’ll post according to an approved content calendar. You’ll then be responsible for uploading, monitoring, and analyzing the effectiveness of content based upon client or our internal goals. You will also coordinate with the Chief Creative Officer and Chief Marketing Strategist to further distribute the internal brand of Maven Creative and help to not only maintain consistency but communicate the brand in the appropriate direction. This will include our existing brand social channels, and website.

Responsibility

Manage the coordinated strategic content plan and robust editorial calendar for the social media/digital platforms.
Collaborate with CCO & Copywriter on story ideas, copy. and editing for weekly social media posts.
Curate assets and content. Post planned content according to approved calendar.
Monitor and post organic and paid social media. Increase and continue education around paid media platforms and current practices.
Follow guidelines to foster two-way dialogue with client consumers through day-to-day monitoring of social channels and responding to questions and comments on behalf of their brand.
Partner with various teams (Graphic Design, Strategy, Operations, outside contributors/vendors, and client) to ensure that social media/digital presence supports key business objectives.
Monitor emerging social media tools, trends and applications.
Create monthly recap reports utilizing analytics data from social media platforms and other available data sources. Report findings and insights regularly to CMS.
Assist Chief Marketing Strategist with other marketing communication and ad hoc projects as necessary.
Organize, develop, and manage Maven calendar for social content deployment.
Coordinate with Production Manager on designer and content needs to accommodate social media calendar.
Upload content, monitor traffic, respond to comments, and provide insights to maven social channels including instagram, linkedin, facebook, dribbble, twitter, etc.
Monitor website traffic and inbound sales leads to develop and work with COO & CMS to recommend better practices for lead generation.
