Senior Marketing Manager – Content, Social & Community


InstaNatural is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager of Content to drive forward our digital content strategy & be the voice across InstaNatural owned online channels, with a focus on eCommerce content and social media. The individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining InstaNatural global ecommerce content strategy, managing all content marketing initiatives across ecommerce sites, apps & tools to drive conversion. This position will report to the CMO and work with both internal and external resources to drive the digital editorial calendar to support company, ecommerce & brand goals.

The ideal candidate is a passionate storyteller with an analytic approach—someone who knows how to find & share compelling stories, understands how to measure results & identify opportunities for improvement & who is eager to push the team to test new approaches. He/she should have proven experience in leveraging content to drive acquisition & conversion, brand consistency, segmentation, localization, analytics & meaningful measurement. What You’ll Do:
•Develop & drive InstaNatural’s global eCommerce, digital and social media content strategy to provide engaging user experiences & maximize conversion.
•Define policies, standards & workflow for digital content creation, maintenance & governance.
•Create digital channel copy to produce compelling, engaging copy & assets (including homepage content, headlines, banners, merchandising assets, marketing copy & functional copy) to ensure digital properties reflect current company messaging, branding, product positioning & ecommerce objectives.
•Partner with marketing functions to identify ecommerce conversion opportunities, measure & share results. Lead content creation/refinement to improve results.
•Drive ecommerce content go-to market strategy to support & extend brand campaigns, both short & long term. Socialize plans with cross-functional teams & evolve strategy & execution based on results.
•Work with internal stakeholders to identify ongoing digital content needs & priorities, responding to & challenging briefs & making data-based decisions to ensure key company initiatives are supported via digital channels.
•Work closely with UX & digital product team to refine & deliver on digital content strategies.
•Act as the primary stakeholder for keyword research & partner closely to increase organic traffic through unique content creation.
•Partner with across functional teams to ensure global digital content strategy supports regional markets through localization/translation needs.
•Create clear, actionable briefs for content creators (i.e. contract copywriters & designers).
•Partner with brand designer to ensure all online content is on-brand & consistent in terms of style, quality & tone of voice.
•Demonstrate a strong understanding of beauty category/products, audience & core messaging. Write content that spans all personas and stages of the buyer journey.


•5+ years of experience concepting, writing & editing content across digital channels, with a focus on eCommerce content strategy. Beauty or fashion experience preferred. Strong portfolio of digital or eCommerce content strategy work and writing samples.
•Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or a related field.
•Ability to take complex ideas or technologies and simplify them for a broader readership.
•Ability to think strategically with strong understanding & past experience with persona development/alignment, the buyer journey & storytelling frameworks.
•Knowledge of web best practices & disciplines including ecommerce management, SEO, demand generation & responsive design.
•Strong understanding of Information Architecture (IA) and how content & design work together.
•Outstanding communication skills – both written and spoken.
•Meticulous attention to detail with outstanding writing, proofreading, fact checking & editing skills. Dedication to quality and integrity.
•Deadline driven, with organizational skills & strong project management, while also demonstrating calm under pressure.
