Marketing Coordinator

Summary

This new position will contribute to the company’s success by assisting in the development of client marketing initiatives, from strategy to content development, execution/distribution, analysis and reporting. The Marketing Coordinator will provide support for our Marketing Department’s strategic vision and execute a wide spectrum of campaign initiatives. This position will be a direct report to the Marketing Managers.
This position requires prior working knowledge in at least one marketing automation platform such as Infusionsoft, Pardot, SharpSpring, Eloqua or Marketo. During the interview process we will ask specific questions about your past campaign experience that incorporated lead nurturing, lead scoring, email marketing, web analytics and multichannel marketing efforts.

Responsibility

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• MARKETING EXECUTION – Execute and implement marketing campaigns utilizing automation systems such as Infusionsoft
• MARKETING APPLICATION – Knowledgeable of current marketing techniques AND marketing theory and strategy, its relationship and impact within a business and how to apply these strategies
• MARKETING ANALYTICS – Utilize diverse marketing measurement tools to actively track and analyze results of initiatives, assess effectiveness and suggest opportunities for improvement. Including but not limited to Google Analytics and Vocus.
• COPYWRITING – Assist in creating content for websites, ads, press releases, blogs, emails, brochures, flyers, other marketing collateral and more, all following both writing and marketing/advertising best practices
• MARKETING TOOL MANAGEMENT – Assist with the utilization, development and management of marketing, advertising and public relations communication tools and outlets across various media channels

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
• BA/BS in relevant studies (marketing, advertising, communications, business, social sciences, behavioral sciences, etc.)
• Exceptional drive to take initiative and follow through on strategic ideas
• A strong balance of analytical skills coupled with creative thinking
• Comprehensive marketing and advertising knowledge and application
• Exceptional organization, communication, interpersonal and planning skills
• Ability to work in a team and understand the value of collaborative thought and execution
• Experience in a marketing and/or advertising agency (not required, but good to highlight if applicable)
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to be succinct, clear and concise
• Ability to take direction for some projects and work off your own direction on others
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications – especially Word and Excel
