The Digital Content Writer/Editor will be responsible for all aspects of content creation and improvement. This includes deep research to understand competitors and audience needs. The bulk of the content will be longform, informational website pages. There will also be the need for blogs, press releases, ads and social media posts.
Specific responsibilities of this role include:
-Intensive research (interviewing, referencing multiple sources, etc. finding information not available on a Google search)
-Content strategy and planning
-SEO research and implementation
-Self-editing for accuracy and tone
-Ensuring consistency throughout site

Specific requirements for this role include:
-2-5 years as a professional writer
-Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing or similar field
-Deep knowledge of WordPress
-SEO knowledge helpful
-Background in health care or pediatric health a plus
-This is a research-first position. You will not be successful in this role if you expect to come in and “write.” We write to communicate ideas in the clearest and most efficient way possible while making our sites rank well in search engines.
$35,000 - $45,000/yr based on skills and experience.
