Development and Social Media Specialist

Summary

The Hemophilia Foundation of Greater Florida (HFGF) seeks a Development and Social Media Specialist whose focus is on Communication, Development/Fundraising, Marketing/Social Media, and Special Event Planning. Candidate must have experience in marketing and special event planning. We are looking for a self-starter with excellent computer skills, ability to prioritize, and a passion for communication.

Responsibility

Job tasks may include, but are not limited to:
• Creating/scheduling eblasts for HFGF;
• Creating/scheduling posts for HFGF social media {must have experience in Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram};
• Acting as liaison between HFGF and event volunteers, participants, vendors, and/or sponsors;
• Updating HFGF website {must have WordPress experience};
• Researching about bleeding disorders, other special events, etc.
• Taking photos for HFGF social media outlets at HFGF events and programs;
• Entering information into HFGF databases;
• Assisting with special event logistics;
• Marketing special events and programs; and
• Additional tasks, as needed.

Qualifications

Candidate must have experience in marketing and special event planning. We are looking for a self-starter with excellent computer skills, ability to prioritize, and a passion for communication. This is a part-time permanent job based in Winter Park, Florida. Candidate must be able to lift 25 lbs., have a valid Florida Driver’s License, and a vehicle.

Compensation

Hourly depending on experience
