Design Manager

Summary

InstaNatural is looking for a full-time Design Manager in Orlando who will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. This person will be responsible for the conceptualization and implementation of design solutions that meet marketing strategies from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate will have vast experience creating visually rich and elegantly simple interactive experiences for both print and digital media. This role will drive all design and creative functions for InstaNatural in ecommerce channels. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a good handle on the latest design trends and responsive web & mobile best practices.

 

Responsibility

What You’ll Do:
•Create designs from concept through completion for print and digital media
•Execute design of collateral focused on building brand equity, including product packaging, samples, print advertisements and online graphics
•Strategize and execute digital assets focused on driving online sales on our e-commerce channels. This includes creating a portfolio of creatives for our website, Amazon listings, PPC ads, social media, and more.
•Working with agencies to establish expectations and goals to carry out vision of the brand and holding them accountable for completing tasks with utmost excellence within brand guidelines
•Creating, directing and editing all brand photography and videography
•Conceptualizing themes, props and locations for shoots
•Help establish and maintain a consistent brand identity and customer experience
•Work innovatively within our brand style guide
•Exhibit a pixel-perfect attention to detail – looking after every point, font, space, and color to make sure that it adds value and delight to the customer’s experience
•Center designs around the consumer: identifying who will use our product, what they will use it for, and what value they will gain
•Provide concepts and designs for applications that drive reach, engagement, and monetization
•Provide conceptual, design, and copy direction as appropriate for web and marketing materials including, but not limited to, emails, banner advertising, and other collateral

Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
•4+ years of professional design and development experience
•Portfolio with samples across a range of mediums required
•Deep understanding of design for e-commerce channels is a must
•Understanding the creative slicing needs of each distribution channel shooting to those specific needs
•Possess a solid understanding of design principles, printing procedures, photography, film and illustration
•Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
•Experience with HTML/CSS a plus
•Online portfolio of high-quality interactive experiences (e-commerce sites and transactional landing pages a major plus)
•A self-directed person who knows what needs to be done and operates with urgency, focus, and discipline
•Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal
•Strong team player who can build strong relationships within all levels of the organization
