Brand Manager – Strategy & Innovation


InstaNatural is looking for a Brand Manager, Strategy & Innovation in Orlando to lead the lifecycle brand vision across the InstaNatural product portfolio, including product research and ideation, go-to-market launch campaigns, continued portfolio growth and development and ongoing consumer research and analysis to ensure we are meeting customer needs and expectations.

This role will include P&L responsibility for our categories and its current and future portfolio of products. The Brand Manager will be responsible for leading category landscape assessment, driving consumer segmentation and needs analysis, defining their product vertical long-term innovation strategy, as well as managing a pipeline of new and existing product concepts. This role will be primarily US focused, but will also include external markets as the business expands globally. Key insights will be derived through data collection, analysis, ecommerce and other channel sell-through data. This role requires strategic leadership with strong analytical skills to develop reports, analyze trends, present conclusions to cross-functional teams and recommend products for development.

This individual will work closely with product development to meet and exceed customer product needs and expectations. They will also be responsible for communication and marketing messaging strategy (benefit/positioning) for go-to-market and consumer retention/growth initiatives, ensuring category and channel revenue objectives are achieved. This includes operationalization of category verticals to maximize productivity and revenue; integrating retail and digital platforms and the creation of cross-functional marketing and brand programs (e.g., PR, social, paid media, creative, etc.).

This position requires extensive multifunctional leadership experience, in-depth consumer knowledge and segmentation skills along with strong business management abilities to drive constant innovation and profitable category growth.



What You’ll Do:
•Lead the vision, where to play and how to win strategy for in specific categories to drive sustainable market share and profitable growth, based on in-depth landscape and category understanding
•Manage the current business and own the category vertical P&L, leading action planning and go-to-market strategies for new product launches
•Set product sales and margin forecasts, evaluate performance, identify underperforming products and build action plans to improve sales
•Collect data, perform quantitative analysis and draw actionable conclusions for product changes/enhancement and vertical growth
•Build highly integrated and aligned go-to-market product launch plans around new product releases and product redesigns, working closely with cross-functional departments
•Identify underperforming products and make recommendations on discontinuations, where necessary
•Track and use detailed analytics to drive data-driven pre- and post-launch product decisions
•Partner with the product development team to lead the innovation strategy and product development for a long-term, multi-year innovation masterplan for the US including additional global expansion markets
•Identify and prioritize product development concepts and enhancements
•Work closely with product development on designs of new products and redesigns of existing products


•Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
•Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a brand management, product/digital marketing, or management consulting
•Proven track record of building intelligent, data-driven, profit generating strategies
•Proven track record of configuring, concepting and altering consumer product portfolios
•Expert knowledge of communicating features, benefits, and values to consumers
•Team player with experience working with engineering, marketing, paid media and creative teams in a fast-paced, agile environment
•Strong communication, critical thinking, problem solving and project management skills –impeccable attention to detail
•A self-directed leader who operates with passion, urgency, focus and discipline
